    Peugeot Releases Special Edition RCZ With All The Trimmings

    FLUSHED with the success of its racy RCZ sports coupe, Peugeot has launched a ‘Red Carbon’ LE special edition model. Combining high specification, bespoke trim and ‘Red Carbon’ badging, the car is distinguished from the regular RCZ models by a red-stitched interior. Limited to 300 models, the ‘Red Carbon’ LE is derived from the regular Sport model.

    Lamborghini Brand and Design Director steps down

    According to well-placed sources within the automotive design community, Car Design News has learned that Manfred Fitzgerald, Brand and Design Director at Lamborghini, has been asked to leave the company. It is presumed his role with the company's design aspects will likely be absorbed by current Audi Group Head of Design Wolfgang Egger. Fitzgerald had been working at Lamborghini since 1999, shortly after the sports car maker was bought by parent company Volkswagen through Audi AG.

    Ford Transit Connect Taxi invades Hong Kong

    Ford is taking World War T(axi) to Nissan with its Transit Connect Taxi, which added Hong Kong to its list of cities served on Monday. Redesigned for 2014, the Transit Connect features a 2.5-liter four with a six-speed automatic transmission. That engine makes 175 hp and 170 lb-ft in the Fusion, but we’d expect it to produce less for fuel mileage purposes in the Transit.
