Up for sale is a 20'x20' Car Display Corral made of boxed aluminum and painted with Black Lacquer.  The base frame is 2"x5", the vertical poles are 2"x2"x3', and the pyramid poles are 2"x2"x20'.  The top of the pyramid is connected by a 2"x2" tubular cross bolted to plywood, and the entire segment is covered with Grabber Blue vinyl material.  Embedded in the top of the pyramid are 4 halogen spot lights (included and visible in the photo) and there are 4 additional halogen spots for each corner of the base frame (included but not visible in the photo).  Each pole that forms the pyramid has standoffs for tubular neon lights (light tubes NOT included) but the connecting wires and two neon transformers for the tube lights ARE included.  AC power cords for the lights in the pyramid are embedded in the pyramid poles.  The entire structure is assembled with self-tapping screws (not included).  Each pole has one or two eyebolts for a barrier rope (rope not included) and a black plastic cap insert at the top.  There are 5 poles per side, counting the corners, which places the poles 5' apart.  The entire structure is painted black and has some handling scratches, but could easily be touched up with a rattle can OR stripped and repainted with spray lacquer to the color of your choice.  Also included are 4 mirror covered blocks to elevate the care onto as shown in the photo.  There are two wide blocks for the rear tires and two narrower ones for the front.  Each is covered in mirror glass on the sides and black formica on the top where the tire sits.  They are different heights to give the impression of the vehicle in the air.  The photo depicts the car on black carpet, which is NOT included.

The included photo is the only one that I have of the Display fully assembled.  I currently have it fully dis-assembled and stacked on a pallet.  As both the sides and pyramid poles are 20' long, they can only be carried in a car trailer (under the car).  I will consider delivery/meetup in the NE US, depending on the location, or it can be picked up at my location.  Currently located outside Plattsburgh NY.  Please write for any further details (and no, sorry, the car is NOT included!!)

Audi A2 EV won’t make production – but you knew that

Thu, 03 Jan 2013

Audi has revealed that it’s dropped plans to put the A2 electric concept – first revealed at Frankfurt 2011 - in to production. Back in June 2012 we reported that the Audi A2 EV wouldn’t make production as Audi had decided that the market simply wasn’t there for a £40k electric city runaround. Now that appears to have been confirmed by Audi in conversation with Autocar.

Some time next season we'll see the guys test this McLaren P1, caught by an observant YouTube poster. The video starts with the crew ogling the P1 supercar in the garage at the Spa-Francorchamps circuit, before the camera car, a matte black Mercedes SUV, and the McLaren hit the track.

Infiniti 'gunning for 700,000 sales' - Ghosn

Thu, 23 Jun 2011

Infiniti is planning to announce a new sales target of 10% global luxury market share - quadrupling sales to 700,000 a year - in a new mid-term statement due this summer. Renault Nissan chief executive Carlos Ghosn told CAR that Infiniti is on line to sell 165,000 cars worldwide in 2011 but said Nissan was investing heavily in its premium division to swell sales considerably. It's an ambitious goal: if successful, Infiniti would be encroaching on the 1m+ territory today dominated by the German luxury brands.
