One Custom Hood Prop from 3gCustomz

Have you ever wanted to prop your hood open but was worried about wind catching it? Have you ever wanted to just have the hood open far enough for a judge to see it but not open far enough for anyone to see the little bit of dirt that you have let build up before the show? We have the answer for you. 3gCustomz is pleased to introduce our Car Show Hood Prop: To maintain the highest quality that our customers have grown accustomed to each and every one of our Car Show Door props are CAD engineered and CNC cut. After each prop is cut out of 1/8” Alum, it is then sanded and brushed for an amazing finish or an opportunity for a blank canvas for you to customize with paint, vinyl or even chrome.

Our doors props actually "Click" into the lock mechanism to prevent someone from easily opening your hood or maybe your struts are a little worn and it won't stay open without some help. By locking in place it also keeps wind from catching your hood and slamming it shut or blowing it wide open.

THIS AUCTION IS FOR ONE HOOD PROP. FEEL FREE TO BROWSE OUR OTHER ACTIONS FOR MATCHING, FRONT,  REAR, AND TRUNK PROPS.

Please Note - Pictures are for design ideas only, the hood prop will be positioned in a up and down, not left to right as pictured  if you would like to see the actual design on a hood prop, please message me

We also LOVE taking on custom work, so if you have the perfect idea, feel free to shoot us a message with what you’re looking for and we will make it happen. We strongly recommend that prior to prep and paint that you install your door props and test fit them first.

The Super Bowl's most refreshingly honest car ad

Fri, 08 Feb 2013

In 2000's High Fidelity, hapless record-store owner Rob Gordon -- played memorably by John Cusack -- opines, “What really matters is what you like, not what you are like." In the year 2000, I was 24 years old and was working on a punk rock magazine, an environment not dissimilar from Gordon's Championship Vinyl. The line made a lot of sense to me; it was a quiet, back-of-the-head maxim that informed much of what my friends and I did and how we saw people. It's a shallow way of looking at things, but for those of us who came of age amid the us-vs.-them liberal identity politics of the '90s, awash as we were in Public Enemy's political consciousness, the post-AIDS gay-rights push and the loud-fast feminism of the riot grrrl movement, there was a good chance that if somebody liked the things you liked, they thought like you and they were good.
