This auction is for a used "driver quality" hood ornament with base for a 1971, 1972, 1973, 1974, 1975, 1976, 1977, and 1978 Cadillac El Dorado.  I believe it is also correct for a Cadillac Fleetwood, but I do not know what years.  The oem # 1602288 is on the base.  It does have one of the mounting nuts and the center spring with it. This is a 40 year old part, so you can expect to find some minor blemishes, pits, and scratches.  The colors and plastic insert on both sides of the ornament look good for their age. The mounting bracket appears to be bent slightly which you can see from the pics.
