This is a ZF s5-18/3 transmission from a Maserati Biturbo. It was purchased for a custom project that never reached fruition... It shifts freely and shafts spin smoothly with no play.  Good condition and out of a 33,000 mile car.  This type of ZF box was used for many different high performance applications including Lotus, and BMW Alpina and AC Schnitzer though with different ratios, bell housing, tail pieces etc.
