This is a brand new genuine EXEDY Pressure plate and TRP Racing Stage 2 HIGH-COPPER Clutch disc. This clutch kit has the main essentials to do your clutch replacement. This EXEDY-TRP is perfect for any stock or slightly modified car. EXEDY Corporation of Japan who is also known as Daikin Manufacturing Company is one of the biggest independent OEM suppliers. They supply all of the major Japanese vehicle manufacture’s as well as Ford and GM located in the US. Unlike most of their competitors, these clutches are not rebuilt OE clutches, or modified stock clutches. All EXEDY/TRP racing and performance clutches are well-engineered, designed and built from the ground up as race clutches, in the shadow of the OEM products. EXEDY’s product are patented worldwide and both EXEDY/GRIP are developed in house using magnificent design, precise inspection tools and high quality testing equipment. Before any design goes into production it goes through numerous tests that simulate extreme driving conditions, which can and will ensure perfect performance in your vehicle. Note that this is not a full exedy kit. This kit includes an exedy cover with TRP racing US fabricated disc and bearing kit.

High Copper Disc

Our High Copper sprung disc offers a really nice fine engagement when using a stock Exedy clutch cover combined. Our High Copper, spring-centered race disc features a spring-center construction to properly damp torsional vibrations and resist failure under harsh conditions. TRP spring retainers utilize wrap around spring windows and thicker retainer stampings to provide spring support, reduce stress concentrations, and increase strength and reliability. With the High Copper, spring-centered race disc engagement is smooth but grippy, and the shifting is quicker. The High Copper, spring-centered disc is recommended for any car application. The disc can absorb twice times more amount of heat then a regular OEM disc. Also, proven to last twice times longer than OEM disc due to the great amount of heat it can absorb and also depending on the driving style of the driver. 500 mile break-in is mandatory to receive the best results.
