If you want to run a mechanical injection on the street

I can coach you on what to do to make it start and idle fairly well.   Hilborn’s, Enderle’s,

 and Kinsler Mechanical Injections

 will not idle smooth like a daily driver, but will idle well enough if you expect to drive it like a Hot Rod or a weekend warrior.- 200-500 miles a year

 would be about all you might want to use a mechanical unit

If you want better mid range smoothness you should consider a Hilborn EFI unit. 

Hilborn EFI systems will Start, Idle, and cruise with efficiency and you can drive other power

options like vacuum

 pumps, air conditioning, power steering etc.
