All engines must pass a rigorous multi-point inspection upon arrival to our
facility from Japan, as well as upon departure for shipping or pickup. Inspecting
the block for any cracks, damage, and deterioration at every angle is standard
practice. All of our engines either meet or exceed manufacturer's specification
for compression ratings. Our warranty is one of the strongest is in the
industry and we do everything on our behalf to ensure that you are receiving a
pristine, high quality JDM engine. We aim for 100% satisfaction in our clients
and our eBay rating proves this, as well.
This listing item is directly imported from Japan and is to be used as a longblock only. In other words, only the head and block should be used and only these items and its internals will be covered under warranty. Accessories such as the alternator, power steering pumps, pulleys, etc. are considered gratuitous. Although they may be used, we always highly recommend to reuse your original engine parts, including the intake manifold, original sensors, exhaust manifold, harness, and other accessories. This is standard protocol for ALL JDM engines being swapped into USDM vehicles, not just our inventory. By explaining this, we hope to clear up the fear and confusion that customers may sometimes experience because of misinformation or indirect responses. Some parts may need to be swapped over, but this is only to ensure the reliability, health, and proper function of your vehicle for years to come.

Shipping
Shipping charges are not refundable, as well as return shipping charges. These charges must be prepaid by customer.
We are not responsible for any labor or parts expenses. If the item needs any minor or major repair, the item must be returned back. Please keep in mind, these engines are used and can be up to 2+ decades old, but please know that we do everything we can to make sure you are receiving nothing but the highest quality item.
Refund or replacement will be issued only after we have received the item back into our possession. If under any circumstance an item is being returned or if an order is cancelled, all shipping and handling charges are nonrefundable and are up to the customer’s responsibility. If you attempt to return an item and a Return Authorization (RA) number is not obtained, the item will be refused by our shipping and receiving department.
We do our very best to package your item professionally and effectively. If any damage occurs during shipping, you must fill out a report at the time of delivery with the driver on scene in order to file a claim with the shipping carrier.

Returns
In the event of a warranty claim or return, please first contact JDM Engine for a Return Authorization (RA) number. This number will unique to your individual claim and must be obtained before any return. Your original invoice must be attached to returned item. If the RA number is invalid or not present on returned item, it will be refused and will not be taken into possession by our shipping and receiving department. Please see the shipping subsection for more details.
Return shipping must be prepaid by customer. Any returns sent by collect shipping will be refused. Please allow up to 2-3 weeks for your item to be repaired, exchanged, or reimbursed.
Electronics such as, but not limited to, ECU’s, sensors, and wiring harness, unless defective are not refundable. Once the item has been tampered with or opened, the item will no longer be refundable. If item is defective, do not tamper with and contact us for an RA number (see shipping terms) for an exchange. If you purchased an item by mistake or if you no longer need the item, such as in the case of figuring out that your vehicle has another issue not related to the replacement of the ECU, reimbursements can only occur in the form of the total amount minus the shipping cost (even if the item was purchased under FREE SHIPPING, this does not apply to return items) and a 20% restocking fee. For example, if an item was purchased for $100, the shipping may be equivalent to $8.99, resulting in about $91.01 minus the 20% restocking fee. In this case, that fee would be $18.20. The grand total refund would be $72.89 in this case. Please note that this is merely a scenario and these numbers may be a bit different depending on where item was shipped.
