You are looking at the tilt steering column from a 78 Chevy pickup truck. This is a genuine GM Factory Tilt steering column for 77 78 Chevy GMC single cab trucks Blazers, Jimmys, Suburbans and Crew cab trucks with Automatic transmissions. Should also fit 73 to 76. The main shaft is different in 77 78 but I’ve included the link shaft that goes from the column to the box so it should still fit the earlier truck. There appears to be something wrong with the shifter. While the shifter works, it does lock into the forward position. The handle moves back and forth freely. There is also a crack in the plastic trim cover where the column meets the dash. Otherwise, a good column. The chrome is nice. The turn signal switch clicks in all 3 positions. The tilt function is tight with no slop or play, tilts in all positions correctly. Shifter lever pivoting area is nice and snug No slop. Ignition key switch works correctly and locks the wheel. Hazard switch works. Column is being offered for parts or repair.
