| FAQ's Q: Do the hubcap listing items ship in a set of 4 or individually? A: For clarification, check the 'quantity' in the Item Specifics section. Also, above the description, the title will generally state of it's sold invidually (just one) or in a set of 4. Q: What's the difference between "Aftermarket" and "OEM" hubcap? A: An aftermarket part is any part for a vehicle that is not sourced by the car's maker thus are not OEM. Original, genuine hubcaps are made by the maker of the vehicle: OEM. Q: What's the difference between "Steel" and "Alloy" wheels? A: Alloy wheels are a bit lighter than steel wheels. Additionally steel wheels are usually stamped, and aluminum wheels are cast and machined. Visual check: This is the easiest part; if your wheel uses a hub cap, then it's almost certainly steel. The same holds true if the rim is painted black and isn't obviously an aftermarket wheel. Also, touch any part of the wheel with a magnet. If they're steel the magnet will stick. If they're alloy aluminum, the magnet will not stick. Q: What's the difference between "hubcap," "wheel cover," and "wheel skin?" A: Hubcap and wheel cover are interchangeable; they are the same thing. Both apply to steel wheels (see above). Wheel skins, however, are made specifically for alloy wheels as they fit directly on top of the existing wheel. Q: How do I find out the size of hubcap or wheel skin that I need? A: Take a look at your tires; the two-digit number after the "R" on your tire is its size. Typically it will be 15", 16", or 17" unless you are a baller and it's more.
