Akrapovic's sporty and extremely lightweight slip-on hexagonal muffler offers a great balance between price and performance and represent the first step in the exhaust system tuning process. With a titanium muffler sleeve, carbon fiber outlet cap and all-titanium internal construction, this pipe will look and sound great on your GSX-R.

PERFORMANCE

Power & Torque: The power curve with Akrapovic exhaust system is much more linear, from the bottom to the top of the power curve that the stock configuration. Maximum power is raised to 166.7 HP at 11700 RPM. The torque curve reflects the same compatibility with the operation of the engine. From 4000 RPM up, the effects of this exhaust can be felt both in horsepower and torque.

CONFIGURATION

This slip-on is composed of a cylindrical stainless steel pipe. The link pipe is attached to the stock header assembly with sleeve joints and metal clamp. The sleeve joint between link pipe and muffler is secured with silicon shielded springs. The muffler is attached to the frame with an Akrapovic carbon-fiber clamp. The sleeve, inlet cap and inner perforations of the muffler are made entirely of titanium, and the outlet cap is a beautifully molded carbon fiber piece.
