It's packed with features that lesser kits leave out, like Teflon inserts between each leaf, roller clips to hold the leaf spring assembly together, and built-in degree wedges. The shocks are nitrogen gas charged to 150 psi, with internal valving that features an orifice that rotates when the shock piston moves more than 2", automatically adjusting the ride quality. This kit includes leaf springs, U-bolts, shocks and all necessary hardware.

This kit has been designed and thoroughly tested to provide the best off-road performance while maintaining as close to a factory ride as possible. The 2" lift kit is intended for moderate off-road use and up to 31" x 10.5" x 15" tires. The kit includes top quality leaf springs, nitrogen gas charged shock absorbers and premium hardware.

The most important part of any lift kit is the springs. Rugged Ridge starts with the highest quality steel leaves, which are then shot peened to reduce leaf fatigue and prevent sag. The leaves are then powder coated to prevent corrosion and preserve appearance and bound together using roller clips, not cinch clips, to dramatically improve vehicle ride and off-road performance. Teflon inserts are placed between each leaf to allow ease of independent movement, for a better ride both on and off the road, and each leaf spring assembly is set to factory flex rates. Built-in degree wedges are also included to help with pinion angle issues that may arise due to the lift.

The leaf springs are mounted in your Jeep using premium quality hardware and polyurethane bushings. For example, the U-bolts are grade-8 and E-coated to ensure they will be able to take off-road abuse. Polyurethane bushings provide a smooth ride, without flexing as much as rubber and they're far more resistant to deterioration from abuse and the environment, so they'll last much longer.

The ORV shocks are nitrogen gas charged to 150 psi for a better on and off-road ride. The internal valving features an orifice that rotates when the shock piston moves more than 2", automatically adjusting the ride quality. The bonded iron 14mm piston is micro-polished and double-chrome plated for durability. The piston and sealing rings are Teflon coated for high wear resistance. Twin tube construction allows the shock to run cooler while protecting the internals from off-road obstacles. The shocks are mounted with durable polyurethane bushings and each shock includes a black shock boot.
