We Specialize in Cylinder Repair, Boring & Sleeve Installation. Please contact us before purchase if you are not sure your cylinder can be bored, some cylinders are plated with a chrome or nikasil and cannot be bored but we can install a steel sleeve that is bore-able. Note Sleeve installations take extensive machining and cost more than a simple bore job.
Pistons - We recommend sending the piston you intend to use along with your cylinder. we take a measurement from that piston to set the piston to cylinder wall clearance. If you dont know what size piston to get you can send us the cylinder and we will measure it up and get you the correct size at additional cost.
Powevalve cylinders - When boring a cylinder with an exhaust powervalve the powervalve needs to be cut back for needed piston clearance when boring .040 or larger over standard size, this is not included in the price of this listing.

In such case the customer will be notified with an estimate and explanation of the additional charges. Normally Studs do not need to be removed for our boring process, But you will be charged extra for Gasket and Dirt removal!
