About Genera: Founded in 1991 as TYC Industrial U.S.A., the company operated from a single 10,000 sq. ft. facility in Paramount, CA. In 1995, the company was relocated to a 75,000 sq, ft. building in La Mirada, CA. The company name was changed to Genera Corp., concurrent with the establishment of its first branch operation. In 1998 and 1999 two new distribution centers were opened; One in Aurora (Chicago), Illinois, and the other in Coppell (Dallas), Texas.
