You are bidding on a Kent-Moore EN-47719 Tensioner Compressor. For GM / General Motors. When installing the timing chain on the new LZ9 3.9L V6, considerable force is required to compress the timing chain tensioner. EN-47719 allows for safe, damage free installation of the timing chain with the tensioner both on and off the engine. The tool slides over the bottom pivot of the chain tensioner and compresses the side tensioner pad aligning it with a retaining hole in the backing plate. A saftey retaining pin is then installed through the side tensioner and into the backing plate until the chain is installed. The pin is then removed and the tensioner is allowed to contact the chain. NEW in package.
