Ford Focus RS 2009 prices announced
When the Ford Focus RS hits UK car showrooms in March, it will cost £24,995, with a 0-60 of under 6 seconds and over 300bhp. The base price include goodies such as 19″ forged alloys, xenon headlights, aircon and a Thatcham cat 1 alarm. For an extra £750 you can have a climate pack which includes auto lights and wipers, and for £1500 you get a clever touch-screen satnav.

Porsche GB has issued a rather cool video detailing the history of the 911 RS models – filmed in situ at the new Porsche Experience Centre in Silverstone.Unlike most corporate videos, this one is remarkably free of commercial sells – although we should remember its presenter will be a tad biased! Mazda's new design direction is embodied in the new Shinari concept car. Modeled to announce to the world the new styling language of future Mazda road cars, the Shinari ushers in a new look to replace the somewhat tortured Nagare mantra that has fizzled into a damp squib on the sides of the latest Mazda 5 midi-MPV. The Shinari won't be shown at the 2010 Paris motor show (apparently it's being held back for a 2011 Geneva debut), yet this is a landmark concept for Mazda design, under the new leadership of chief design Ikuo Maeda.
