Cast Aluminum, Continental A65, 75, 85, 90, O200 Valve Cover, Replica Part on 2040-parts.com
Plymouth, Indiana, US
I am offering a Continental Cast Aluminum Valve Cover. This is manufactured to standards beyond the original utilizing magnesium as an alloy and a silicon hot box for a better quality casting. It is a replica part, suitable for a homebuilt, airboat or experimental aircraft. I originally manufactured this for an AI that finished and fitted this to a production aircraft in accordance with FAR part 21.9. It is powder coated in black and the Continental Script is hand polished to stand out against a black back ground. Better fitting, cooling and sealing then the stamped rocker box covers of today. I stand behind what I sell. As with everything I sell, this may be returned for a full refund for any reason. US Priority Mail, $6.00.

New Qoros at Geneva 2014 – looks like a Crossover/SUV
Fri, 27 Dec 2013New Qoros at Geneva 2014 – looks like a Crossover/SUV Chinese car maker Qoros – hoping to make inroads in to the European market with its Qoros 3 saloon – is heading for the Geneva Motor Show in March with a new model, teased today in a pair of photos. Qoros’s first production model – the Qoros 3 – arrived in production guise at Geneva this year as a convincing – if generic -looking – four-door saloon, which we did think an odd route to go to break in to Europe. But the next Qoros – previewed here in a couple of teaser photos – looks to be a production version of the Qoros Cross Hybrid Concept Qoros showed at Geneva and a much better route to grabbing a slice of Europe’s car sales.
NHTSA probing coolant leak in Porsche 911?
Tue, 30 Apr 2013In another embarrassing failure to understand what they're supposed to be regulating, the NHTSA has announced that they are investigating a “coolant leak” in Porsche 911s that were built with the GT1 engine block between 2001 and 2007. Maybe when they said coolant, they were talking about the oil that circulates in a 911 to keep the engine cool? Next thing you know, they'll be checking out fuel pumps on the Tesla Model S!
