Audi buys Ducati. Trophy or shrewd investment?
Thu, 19 Apr 2012Audi buy Ducati It’s been confirmed that Audi is to buy Ducati, the Italian Super Bike maker, for an undisclosed sum thought to be around £700 million. Last month we reported that Audi has entered in to an exclusive agreement to buy Ducati, pipping Mercedes to the trophy super bike maker and adding a trophy to its cabinet. And the deal is now done.

BMW stated their goal as “…to expand the range of products and services offered by BMW i in the long term by taking stakes in highly innovative service providers”, and their first investment was in to an app business - My City Way – which provides users with information on public transportation, parking availability, and local entertainment. BMW argue – very sensibly – that our fuel usage can be cut by using common sense and new technology.

Mon, 24 Oct 2011Details about the high-performance 2012 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, taken from the dealer ordering guide, are spreading on the Internet courtesy of fans on the Camaro5 message board. Here are some of the highlights: -- The LSA supercharged 6.2-liter V8 will deliver 580 hp and 556 lb-ft of torque on premium fuel. It will connect with a Tremec six-speed manual transmission as standard, while a Hydra-Matic six-speed automatic will be optional.
