Audi TT (2006): first official pictures
Thu, 13 Jul 2006By Phil McNamara First Official Pictures 13 July 2006 03:14 In a nutshell Here are the first pictures of the all-new TT coupe - and the fashionista's favourite has become a serious sports car, claims Audi. The design update is edgier and more muscular, and there's a similar overhaul going on beneath the skin. The front end is now made of lightweight aluminium, to sharpen the handling.
Cadillac CTS Coupe (2010) – Official
Mon, 23 Nov 2009Cadillac will launch the CTS Coupe in Spring 2010 Having let the cat out of the bag over plans for a range-topping Cadillac CTS-V Coupe (and the CTS-V Wagon) the other day, GM has now released official detail of its less powerful sibling, the CTS Coupe, which will launch in the Spring of 2010, so as is American convention we should probably call it the 2011 Cadillac CTS Coupe (the American car industy is as bad as the fashion industry – everything is ‘Next Year’). The CTS Coupe joins the Saloon (Sedan) and Estate (Wagon) to complete the three model lineup for the CTS, and is by far the best looking of the bunch, although to be fair both the saloon and estate are attractive in a bold, American kind of way. Sitting a couple of inches lower than the saloon, the Coupe is also a couple of inches shorter.
Report backs Scottish pay-as-you-drive
Tue, 29 Oct 2013SCRAPPING FUEL DUTY and car tax in Scotland and replacing them with a pay-as-you-drive system has been suggested by an independent think tank. The scheme would help reduce emissions, cut congestion and increase fairness, Reform Scotland said. The organisation has produced a report on the idea, calling for the Scottish Government to launch a feasibility study on a national and local scheme in which central government would "price" motorways and trunk roads and local authorities would "price" local roads.
