Used but fully functional unit. The plastic cover is missing from the OBS knob but it still turns easily.
Brand:Cessna Warranty:No Manufacturer Part Number:RTA-477A, pn 50950-0000, Country/Region of Manufacture:United States

This CDI unit was recently removed from a Cessna 182 to make way for Garmin equipment.   I've had it working with a Cessna RT485 NAV/Com and also a TKM MX385.   The compatible MX385 is also available under another lot.

I particularly liked the Automatic Radial Centering feature, which lets you press the button and it finds the VOR radial automatically without having to continually twist the OBS knob waiting for the needle to move.

The unit is currently in the UK.
-I will ship to anywhere in the world from the UK and just charge you at cost.
-Alternatively I will be travelling to Florida in late November 2016 and if you can wait, I could ship it within the US from there.
-Alternatively if you are in the US buying this item in conjunction wtih any of the other avionics items I have for sale, I will ship to you via a forwarding service in Clearwater, FL, and you only pay US domestic shipping from Clearwater.  I will get the item to Clearwater at my own cost and also pay any US import duties.

Mini E electric car(2008): first photos

Mon, 20 Oct 2008

By Tim Pollard First Official Pictures 20 October 2008 09:36 The Mini has finally gone electric. As scooped by CAR Online, the Mini E is a pure electric car and just 500 will be built for corporate and private customers in the US, although a handful could make it to London where there is also a limited recharging infrastructure. The Mini E will only be available for one year as part of a trial and at the end all will be returned to BMW.

Fiat 500L launches

Wed, 04 Jul 2012

The Fiat 500L – a larger Fiat 500 based on the Punto – has launched in Italy ahead of going on sale in the UK in early 2013. We had the official arrival of the Fiat 500L at the Geneva Motor Show in March, and now we get the 500L’s official launch in Turin – together with lots of new photos and a video – before the 500L goes on sale around the world. The 500L is actually based on the underpinnings of the Punto to create a 500 MPV and, sensibly, Fiat has done with the 500L  what MINI did with the Countryman and slapped an iconic badge on even though the 500L bears scant resemblance to its cute little sibling.

Poor quality diesel blamed for winter breakdowns

Thu, 12 Dec 2013

Thousands of drivers are risking a winter breakdown through being sold poor quality diesel fuel, the RAC has warned. All makes and models of car are at risk, says the breakdown recovery provider, with breakdowns proving more prevalent in eastern England and Scotland, and the greatest concentration of breakdowns occurring in the North East. Winter motoring guide Winter driving tips The organisation hasn’t yet found the root cause of the problem – so it is working with fuel retailers to work out what’s causing it.
