1987½-1995 Pickup Truck or Suburban and some Passenger Cars including Camaro and Firebird

This Chevy 383 crate engine by Tuff Dawg Engines would be EXCELLENT for just about any pickup truck, suburban, blazer, 4X4, RV, or passenger car including Camaro and Firebird. This is a direct bolt in to pull out that tired 305 or 350 and bolt in some horsepower to bring that old vehicle to life with 330HP and 410ft lbs of torque. It is computer compatible and has a smooth idle, great low end and midrange power, and works well with either a manual or automatic transmission. The included Edelbrock Performer aluminum intake manifold is for TBI fuel injection only. This engine will run on leaded or unleaded pump fuel. It will pass emissions and you can even run your stock computer!

The balanced rotating assembly (typically includes crankshaft, pistons, rings, connecting rods, rod bearings, and balancer) featured in this engine:

  • 3.750" stroke cast/steel crank
  • 5.7" forged rods with ARP rod bolts
  • 9.2 to 1 compression hypereutectic pistons

More special features of this engine include:

  • Deck head gasket surface on block to ensure a good seal
  • New Hydraulic flat tappet cam with .448"Int/.472"Exh valve lift
  • Dart/Pro Topline/GM Performance heads with high performance springs setup to match cam
  • New Screw-in rocker studs with guide plates
  • New Perfect Circle rings
  • New Double row timing set
  • New Oil pump with welded big pickup screen and steel drive shaft and steel guide
  • New Brass expansion plugs
  • New Edelbrock Performer aluminum intake manifold for TBI only
  • All parts are painted separately before assembly for that show quality look
  • No need for a special flywheel or flexplate like other 383's you see, this engine is balanced so that you can reuse the flywheel or flexplate off of your 1987½-1995 305 or 350

This engine comes completely assembled with oil pan, chrome bowtie timing cover, harmonic balancer, chrome valve covers at no extra charge, and an aluminum TBI intake manifold.

This engine is custom built from start to finish in our state of the art facility by professionals that take pride in their work to guarantee that you get a top quality engine the first time!.

This engine is covered by a 1 year written warranty.
(There is no warranty when using a Blower, Turbo, Super Charger or NOS)

Auctioned Ferrari Dinos fetch more than £380,000

Mon, 26 May 2014

TWO FERRARI Dino cars have sold for a combined £383,000 during the same auction, despite one of them needing significant restoration. The model has in recent years become a golden goose for any owners lucky enough to have acquired one years ago, and the latest Silverstone Auctions sale shows what a cash cow even poor condition examples have become. A recently-restored 1971 Dino topped £250,000 inclusive of its buyer's premium, while the rusting form of a 1973 version still brought about a £132,500 sale.

Acura RLX Concept

Thu, 05 Apr 2012

Acura held the world debut of the Acura RLX Concept at the New York auto show, which indicates the design and engineering direction for Acura's flagship sedan, set to launch at the beginning of 2013. The RLX Concept's design continues the brand's ‘Keen Edge' design philosophy, with bodyside surfacing clearly related to the ILX we first saw in Detroit. The RLX maintaining approximately the same length as the current RL but with a wheelbase increased by 50mm while the front overhang has been reduced by the same amount.

McLaren P1 Geneva reveal confirmed & first instrument view

Wed, 06 Feb 2013

The McLaren P1 supercar has been confirmed for a Geneva Motor Show debut and we get the first peek at the P1′s ‘Race’ instruments. McLaren are certainly making the most of the reveal of the P1 and are still keeping the exact specifications close to their chest, although we do know that the P1 will get a modified version of the V8 in the 12C with a hybrid KERS type boost offering something north of 900bhp. But McLaren has thrown us a titbit of extra information with the Geneva confirmation in the form of two photos of the digital instruments in the P1 (inset above and in the main photo gallery for the P1).
