Camshaft from a 1926 Chevrolet Series V 171 cubic inch 4 cylinder. 1913-1931
The lobes are a little worn down in the center, and needs to be reground as seen in the photos. Only a 45-60 dollar machining.
The distributer worm gear looks good, no excessive wear, and the front fiber gear has no cracks.
We also have a crankshaft for the same engine that is in very good shape, it does not appear to need any machining.
Our warehouse has a vast amount of NOS babbitt connecting rods for early engines. Please inquire.
Also a head as well that needs some attention.

Jag Land Rover factory closure ‘already decided'

Jaguar Land Rover management has already decided which UK factory to close – and the decision will be announced this autumn in 2010. The car making group, which manufactures around 250,000 cars a year, operates out of three UK sites: Castle Bromwich and Solihull near Birmingham, and Halewood near Liverpool. Those sorts of volumes are more normally associated with a single factory or, at a push, two.
