Here is the ELECTRIC speedo Borg Warner T5 that came out of a late 80's square body S10.  This truck came in for junk, non running.  So I never drove the truck.  But I shifted it thru the gears when it was in the truck.  Splines look good.  Shaft looks good and not grooved up or anything like that from a bad throw out bearing (which is common to them to have wear grooves).  But as you can see this one looks good.  Treads for the mount look good.  I did not see any cracks or breaks in the cases.  It is dirty, and straight out of the truck, and will be shipped that way.  The tag looks so rusty, there will be no cleaning it to read the numbers.  Check out the pictures good.  This is sold as is, all sales are final.  So make sure this is exactly what you need before you buy it.  This will be shipped out UPS ground service.  It will be packed up good.  Check out my other listings, we have lots of used parts to sell. No returns.

MINI Yours: MINI customisation kicks off with MINI Avenue

Mon, 07 Nov 2011

MINI Avenue - an off-the-peg MINI Yours We already know that MINI seems to launch more limited editions every year than the whole of the rest of the car industry. But now they’re going a step further with a customisation programme called ‘MINI Yours’, and an off-the-peg version called the MINI Avenue. MINI Yours is all about offering the sort of customisation offered for the original Mini in the 1960s by companies like Radford - and about making good margins on the add-ons – with a huge range of customisation stuff above and beyond what appears in the MINI Limited Editions.

The car's design is believed to have been undertaken by Daimler's Advanced Design Center in Beijing, led by Olivier Boulay.

The 1980s classic cars that could become MOT-free

Tue, 26 Aug 2014

A change of law in 2012 meant that cars registered before 1960 no longer have to pass the yearly test for roadworthiness known as the MOT. However, a new EU directive means that, from 2018, this could be extended to all cars more than 30 years old, as long as they haven’t been substantially modified.
