1965 Chevy II bucket seats.  I put these in my wagon years ago to make an SS clone look.  Since then I have changed direction with the car and want to get some cash together for different seats.  As you can see in the pics, the upholstery is aged and torn, but it is the original upholstery from 1965.  Fawn is the color I believe.  Fully functional with tracks.  I have used these seats for many years as is and have never had problems with them.  They look rough, but if you're going for the rat rod look, these work perfect as is.  Nothing a Mexican blanket can't fix, which I did for a long time.  Not going to give them away.  These are hard to find.  Currently I have it listed as local pick-up only.  I would prefer to sell them this way, but I am willing to ship if necessary (shipping cost must be verified prior to end of auction so it can be included in final price).  Please contact me prior to bidding for shipping arrangements/ questions.  I may even be able to meet half way depending on where you're coming from.  Reserve auction, so bid accordingly.  I am also selling these locally, so I reserve the right to terminate the auction at anytime.  Please call with any questions.

Jets land on Rodeo Drive

Thu, 14 Mar 2013

Tail fins will be all over Rodeo Drive on Father's Day, June 16. The Rodeo Drive Committee has chosen “The Jet Age” as its theme for this year's street-closing concours, with tail-finned cars of the '50s and '60s lined up on the 300 block of the famous street. And to top it off, and perhaps because they made a nice contribution, parked on the 200 block will be a mock-up of the new Lear 85 business jet in all its carbon-fiber glory -- with the tail fin but minus the wings.

For new CAFE rules, automakers place high-stakes tech bets

Tue, 23 Mar 2010

Game-changing 2015 fuel economy rules are forcing vehicle development teams to make high-stakes bets on expensive technologies--bets that will separate the winners from the also-rans. Not only do federal rules target a 2015 fleet average of 35.5 mpg, up from the current 27.5 mpg for cars and 23.1 mpg for light trucks; they force automakers to bet on different technology packages for each vehicle segment. Companies that do best at mixing technologies while keeping down costs will have an advantage when buyers wince at higher stickers.

Cabbies test new British-built hybrid Black Cab

Wed, 02 Apr 2014

LONDON cabbies have seized the chance to test the first in a new wave of low-emissions taxis. At Metrocab's testing facility in Surrey, representatives from the Capital's taxi world met London Mayor Boris Johnson, who after driving the car threatened to turn into Top Gear's Jeremy Clarkson. The Mayor joined Licensed Taxi Drivers Association (LTDA) General Secretary Steve McNamara, and London Cab Drivers Club (LCDC) Chairman Grant Davis to put the Metrocab’s zero emissions capability to the test.
