Bucket Seat Information:

Cambridge Upholstery is proud to offer the "Concourse" bucket seat for our fellow hot rodders. This pair of custom bucket seats comes with matching rear seat upholstery (upholstery only, no rear seat frame/pad included) for 55-57 chevy 2 door sedan, convertible, or hardtop. These ultra comfortable and stylish bucket seats are built around GM frames, quality GM hinge assembly with adjustable back angle and fast tilt for easy rear seat access, and have custom high density polyurethane foam and hand crafted upholstery.

Please note: the picture of the rear seat is just an example. We do keep popular colors/designs in stock ready to ship, but custom orders will take approximately 2-4 weeks to process depending on sales volume.

At Cambridge Upholstery, we do not cut corners. We back ALL of our material with the highest quality sewing foam available. This sewing foam protects the seat foam from wear as well as protect the upholstery from wearing on the back side. It also ensures a plush, even finished product. We also use the highest quality UV guarded bonded nylon thread available to ensure quality products that last.

Buyer will receive a pair of bucket seats similar to as shown with matching rear seat upholstery for 55-57 chevrolet 2 door sedan, hard top, or convertible. Buyers are urged to contact us with their year/body style as soon as possible after bidding/buying so we may begin construction of the rear seat upholstery immediately.

FREE REAR UPHOLSTERY INSTALLTION- if you would like to mail us your rear seat, we will install the upholstery- you just cover the shipping expenses. If your rear seat frame needs to be re-padded, we can do that as well. Re-padding rear seat starts at $350.00 (back and bottom)

Buttons: upholstered buttons in matching material- call for pricing. Pricing will depend on quantity/layout
Polished Billet medallions with accent color: +$50/each
Ultra Leather Upgrade: +$50 single color, $100/two tone
Katzkin Leather on seating surfaces: +$650

Additional material is available to finish the rest of your interior. Ultra leather and cloth starts at $45/yard , vinyl at $35/yard, oem cloth for $105.00/yard- call for price quotes on leather

Bucket Seat Dimensions:

measures 26" high @90 degree back angle (+ your track / bracket height)

23" deep (when seat back is at 90 degrees)

20.5" wide

With no weight applied, the top of the seat cushion (part you sit on) sits 5" up from the bottom of the seat (track mounting area).

Warrany: Bucket seats carry 5 year frame, foam, mechanism warranty. Upholstery carries a 2 year warranty on material and craftsmanship.

Returns: We have yet to have a customer that has not absolutely loved our seats. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, we will do anything within reason to in order to correct any issues until we see you are fully satisfied. Your satisfaction is guaranteed.

European Car of The Year 2012 to be announced at Geneva

The European Car of the Year 2012 will be revealed at next month's Geneva motor show, drawn from a shortlist of seven cars. In the first stage of voting judges selected their seven favorite cars from a list of 35 candidates that were put on sale in Europe in 2011, with January seeing the declaration of the seven finalists. The second stage of voting will find the European Car of the Year 2012, with the winning car announced on 5 March at the Geneva motor show.

Lotus chief exec Dany Bahar suspended: what's next?

Group Lotus chief Dany Bahar has been suspended while complaints about his conduct are carried out by parent company DRB Hicom. Weekend newspapers reported that the dispute was over expenses for building work carried out on one of Bahar's homes. Bahar was suspended on Friday and the new owners stressed that Lotus Cars continued to run in his absence.
