This is a CHRIS CRAFT MARINE ENGINE that was removed from a freshwater Michigan 1967 Chris Craft Sea Skiff.    The boat wood was beyond practical hope but the engine is very good and complete.  The engine tag reads Model 327 F 15   Serial NO.704330    The engine was in very good running condition and was winterized when dry docked about 7 years ago.  The engine was rebuilt in about year 1995 with oversized pistons and all was well...the HP is thought to be about 300.....running hours are thought to be minimal.    The reverse gear is #HF-7A 15R and was also rebuilt with new plates etc.  The paragon reduction gear is #RA 15R and is fine. Included are the motor mounts, alternator, carter carb, bronze water pump and many other upgrades that were added over the years.   This engine had no known problems when last used....so I anticipate just the usual maintainance and you would be good to go.    If you have any questions just contact me at 810-329-4372.   I prefer pick up but can help arrange shipping at your expense if arranged ahead of time. More pictures available upon request.   My location is St.Clair, MI 48079

Hybrid owners sue Ford over Fusion, C-Max mpg claims

Wed, 24 Apr 2013

Pennsylvania car owners are suing Ford Motor Co., claiming that the 2013 Fusion hybrid and C-Max hybrid are not delivering on promised fuel-efficiency figures, according to a report from Bloomberg. Both hybrid models are advertised to return 47 mpg, but the owners say that number is inflated to seem more competitive among other midsize sedans, according to their court filing. The complaint says car owners who have submitted estimates to a fuel-economy tracking website averaged 38.5 mpg, a 10-mpg difference that can cost an additional $1,800 in fuel costs over five years, Bloomberg reports.

Hospital staff face 'extortionate' parking charges

Fri, 22 Aug 2014

HOSPITAL bosses have been branded immoral for introducing "extortionate" parking charges for staff who need their cars for work. The union Unite said England should come in line with Scotland and Wales where NHS staff were not made to pay to park. The union was responding to South Tyneside NHS Foundation Trust's decision last month to start charging health visitors and community nurses £1.20 an hour to park.

Nissan Sentra adds sporty-looking FE+ 2.0 SR to Sentra lineup

Wed, 11 Mar 2009

Most of us at AutoWeek value speed and style, but there are people out there who are perfectly fine with just looking the part. For them, Nissan has announced the addition of the FE+ 2.0 SR to the Sentra lineup. Previously, the only way to get a more aggressive looking Sentra from the factory was springing for SE-R models.
