Chris Craft Rudder Brass Vintage Inboard Steering Boat on 2040-parts.com

Location:

Mayville, Wisconsin, United States

Original brass rudder from a Chris Craft boat.  It's in very good condition for it's age with slight wear on the spindle shaft, a very minor bend on the trailing edge, and a chip out of the upper rear corner.  It's hard to tell but there may also be a slight bend at the base of the pivot shaft which should be easy to straighten if necessary.  I'm not sure what size boat this came from so check dimensions to make sure it will fit before bidding.

917 is stamped on the left side just below the shaft.

Shaft diameter  .750"
1/2" square where rudder arm attaches, 1.1" long
Shaft length top of blade to start of square  5"
Top of rudder  8" long
Bottom of rudder blade  6.5" long
Height of rudder blade  7.25"
