Description

I have one NOS A/C Mode Door Vacuum Actuator, Chrysler part number 3847849. This part number is superceded by 4462918. This is a dual diaphragm actuator. Fits most Chrysler, Dodge and Plymouth passenger car applications from 1983 to 1990. Chrysler part number 3847849 is stamped into the bracket. There are 2 small areas with very minor surface imperfection in the plating, one area on the bracket, the other on the metal can. Neither affect the function of the part. I have tested both diaphragms and they operate properly. Check with your dealer to insure that this part number is correct for your application.

This is the new Skoda Rapid Spaceback that’s basically an estate version of the Rapid hatchback that was launched in the UK last year. Skoda wants its miniature Audi A3 Sportback-lookalike to appeal to young buyers and trendy youthful families when the car goes on sale this October, and it shouldn’t cost much more than the regular Rapid, which starts at £12,905. Skoda Rapid Spaceback – more space you-know-where, then?

Mitsubishi will unveil its Concept G4 at the upcoming Bangkok motor show. The Concept G4 compact sedan is shown in only one sketch, meaning we have few details, but we can see it features Mitsubishi's latest design language first seen on the CA-MiEV in Geneva, for example the headlamps, rear lamps, vertical fog lamp bezels and grille. Mitsubishi claims that the concept's short nose will help with visibility and maneuverability, while the interior will allegedly be among the roomiest in its class.

BMW X1 – first car in the wild!

Wed, 29 Apr 2009

The new BMW X1 on the road for the first time The X1 is designed to be a proper, compact SUV, aimed at a younger market, with less to spend, than most of BMW’s current offerings. Based on the 1 series platform, this shot seems to look exactly like the concept car (BMW X1 Concept gallery at the end). Not sure about the brown paint job, though.
