Peugeot 208 GTi price from £18,895

Peugeot has revealed that the new 208 GTI will cost from £18,895, with the order book for the 208 GTi opening in March. That price will be £18,895 – almost £2k more than the new Fiesta ST - and includes the usual GTi stuff like 17″ alloys, new grill, LED running lights, twin exhausts, leather and cloth upholstery, red trim details, DAB, rear parking and a smattering of GTi badges. Peugeot also say that the 208 GTi has been fettled to make it a more sporty prospect than the standard 208, with retuned suspension and wider track.

Kia GT concept (2011) at Frankfurt motor show

When CAR visited Kia’s Korean test facility in Namyang back in April 2011, there were several clues to suggest the company was looking into some kind of high-performance saloon: we saw an M3 and a Nissan GT-R in the car park, plus a senior engineer told us that he and the team often pondered what it would be like to build a – very specific this – V6 turbo, rear-wheel drive sports coupe. Mazda Takeri concept

Mazda has released pictures of the Takeri concept ahead of the car's unveiling at the forthcoming Tokyo motor show. Said to preview the next generation 6, the concept is the second car from Mazda to adopt the 'Soul and Motion', or ‘Kodo', design language. The Takeri's DRG is dominated by the now familiar large Mazda grille, itself rimmed by a silver section that intersects the lamp graphic.
