Nissan Extrem concept

Nissan has unveiled its Extrem concept at the Sao Paolo motor show, a two-door 2+2 crossover that previews future Nissan design cues. The Extrem concept was designed at Nissan Design Center (NDA) in San Diego, California, in collaboration with Brazilian designers but much of the creative time was spent in Sao Paolo. "We call it Baby Beast," said Robert Bauer, Senior Design Manager for the project at NDA.

Honda Civic Type-R MUGEN (2009) first official pictures

By Ben Pulman First Official Pictures 22 June 2009 18:00 Honda's Mugen Motorsports performance tuning arm has released the first official pictures of the company's stripped-out Civic Type-R hot hatch. Details are still sketchy, but let's start with the visual changes. There's a deeper and wider front spoiler (sans fog lights), a new grille, a vented bonnet, plus vents just behind the front wheels.  At the back the Civic's triangular exhausts have been replaced by two huge bazooka tailpipes, which fit beneath a more angular rear bumper, and there's also a double-decker wing to make rear visibilty even worse.

Royal College of Art interim exhibition - 'Automotivation'

Second year Vehicle Design students at London's Royal College of Art displayed their work last November in an interim exhibition entitled 'Automotivation'. The long-established RCA Vehicle Design course has produced some of the world's most respected and successful automotive designers. In the exhibition, a range of design projects considered the needs of the world's changing landscape for private and public mobility.
