This Timing Chain Came out of a Jet Boat that spun a rod bearing and had very low hours on it as for as I know. It had a surface rust spot on it in one area that I removed that will not affect operation. They sell new for about $87.00 dollars. If you want it degreed as a pre 1972 model use the 4 degree advance keyway and it will be Straight Up as thy say in Ford Speak. The Cam ( Not Included in THIS AUCTION) was used in a 545 Build and has low mileage. The owner decided to go to a Roller Cam. The Lifters that were with the cam got broken during shipping with most lost in route. I purchased a new set of lifters to go with another cam but, decided to let them go with this one instead. The cam Specs. are 226/234 at .050" lift and .557"/.575" with a 111 Degree LSA. I will get a link to the spec.s as I may not be Exact on the Lift number's but, it is within a few thousands of what I said. New lifters go for about $80.00 Dollars and This cam is close to $150.00 New so this is you chance to save a little money on a slightly used one.

THE UK’s favourite television car advertisements have been revealed and Honda has grabbed the top two places. Its Hands advert was an easy winner with more than 12 million views, followed by the Japanese firm’s An Impossible Made Possible ad in second spot. Third place went to one of two Chevrolet adverts in the top 10 with the American company’s Outstanding Design ad in third followed by its LifeTest promotion in fourth.

The new Ford Taurus SHO is shaping up to be a sleeper. Spy shooters have caught what appears to be the performance version of the new Ford flagship--and it looks almost exactly the same as the regular car. There's a SHO badge on the back--which is stickered over--and uh, nothing else.

Ford reaches agreement to sell Volvo to Geely for $1.8 billion

Ford has reached an agreement to sell its Swedish brand Volvo to Chinese carmaker Geely for about $1.8 billion in a multinational sale expected to close in the third quarter of this year. The pending agreement was announced onSunday morning, and Ford will continue to supply powertrains, stamping and other parts to Volvo after the sale. If it closes, the landmark deal delivers the premium Volvo brand--long a benchmark for automotive safety--to a Chinese firm that has ambitious plans for growth.
