Complete 3.6 Engine, Transmission From 1989 Us Jaguar Xj6 In Running 1988 Car on 2040-parts.com

This is an original 3.6 engine and automatic transmission, which is still in  a running driving Florida car. Car is included; but must be picked up in Sebring, Florida .. NOTE, on another ad,I will sell engine and transmission only, and will ship. Price is the same....Engine and transmission were in a very good 1989, that ran well, until the lady owner put 60 series tires on it to make it lower; then hit a speed bump in  her apartment parking lot, cracking the oil pan.I bought the car, changed the oil pan and gasket.. The transmission failed in my high mileage 1988, so I simply put this lower mileage engine and transmission in my 1988. It ran well, though it than sat several years, and there is a minor weep from the water pump. That will probably stop, with use; but you might just fit a new water pump. I only drove the car about a hundred miles, as I moved my business from Ft. Lauderdale to the small town of Sebring Florida, where everything is close; so I only drive it occasionally. Transmission shifts fine, and engine shows good oil pressure; unlike my previous engine.  Body is very useable.It is rusted behind back window and around fuel door. Floors, fenders and the rest are good. It may have a bad ball joint. Both front door handles need to be replaced; a spare set is included. gray leather and carpets are good..
