Rear-drive revelers: Spring Fest draws LX devotees to California love-in

Fri, 03 Jun 2011

Long before Eminem boosted the image of Detroit and the Chrysler 200, Fatchance was getting the West Coast party started for Chrysler's rear-drive LX cars. Fatchance is the Internet handle of John Fortuno, a man who--like many others we met at the Sixth Annual Spring Fest for LX owners--claims his car, a 2005 Chrysler 300C, changed his life. It introduced him to www.LXforums.com, a worldwide virtual car club that has more than 38,000 members dedicated to the Chrysler LX rear-drive platform used by the Chrysler 300 and the Dodge Charger, Challenger and Magnum.

British Grand Prix Qualifying: Rosberg on pole for Mercedes – Hamilton 6th

Sat, 05 Jul 2014

Nico Rosberg (pictured) takes pole for 2014 British Grand Prix at Silverstone Nico Rosberg has taken pole position for tomorrow’s 2014 British Grand Prix at Silverstone, but team mate Lewis Hamilton made a complete mess of final qualifying and will start 6th in the race. Hamilton decided that his final run wasn’t quick enough and aborted it because he was a bit down in the first two sectors, but the rest of the track had dried out more, and if he’d carried on with his lap he would have almost certainly have taken pole. Behind Rosberg, Sebastian Vettel put his Red Bull in second place and McLaren’s Jenson Button took third followed by Nico Hulkenberg in the Force India and Kevin Magnussen in the second McLaren.

Mitsubishi Lancer first look

Mon, 11 Dec 2006

By Tim Pollard First Official Pictures 11 December 2006 04:20 Mitsubishi Lancer: the lowdown Mitsubishi has unveiled its new Focus rival, the Lancer. Forget today's budget special – the new Lancer is Mitsubishi's pitch to move the Lancer upmarket, away from cheap 'n' cheereful Korean rivals and towards the mainstream heartland occupied by Ford and Vauxhall. Of course, most volume manufacturers make similar claims for new models, but Mitsubishi has some right to be optimistic.
