Performance cut, 600 denier Carbolex® shell incorporates 1680 denier ballistic polyester material in the elbows and shoulders. Rainguard™ waterproof and breathable barrier. The Mandarin-style collar features a soft microfiber trim. Waterproof zippered chest vents combine with sleeve vents and rear exhaust vents to provide flow-through ventilation. Pre-curved and rotated sleeves increase comfort and performance in the riding position. Adjustable take-up straps at the bicep and forearm help to secure a snug fit. 360° Phoslite® reflective piping and Cortech's signature reflective rear triangle increase nighttime visibility. Removable, CE-approved armor at the elbows and shoulders with an articulated triple-density back protector. Cortech's Z.O.Q. (Zip-Out Quilted) Liner features warming 100-gram polyfill insulation. Jaguar XE Spied - looking like a chopped XK To be honest, we don’t even know now whether Jaguar will call their new, smaller sports car the Jaguar XE or Jaguar F-Type, as there’s talk of them ditching the iconic Jaguar badging in favour of a Germanic numbers-based moniker across the range. But whatever Jaguar do finally decide to call their new small sports car, we know it’s officially in the planning and has been for more than a year. And now it’s out playing, albeit wrapped up in a chopped XK.

Whether you drive a Tesla Model S, a Nissan Leaf, or a CNG-powered Ford F-150, there is now an app that drivers of all electric and alternative fuels will find useful. The Department of Energy has just released a mobile app version of its Alternative Fueling Statin Locator, available for download at the iTunes store, that will allow users to find public and private electric charging stations and alternative-fuel station all across the nation. The app displays different types of refueling stations, including biodiesel, CNG, electric, ethanol, hydrogen, LNG, and propane.

BMW has been hyping its futuristic i lineup for years now, but the long lead time doesn't mean that the highly efficient, carbon-fiber-based vehicles are vaporware. Earlier this month, we test drove pre-production versions of the i3 and i8, and last week, Autoweek reader Frank Cogliano spied the former vehicle on the road. Cogliano caught this wrapped i3 near Stony Point, New York -- about 30 minutes from BMW's New Jersey headquarters.
