For sale is one used rear window storage tray hinge body-side bracket. P/N 3976399 Bracket, 3954527 Plate Correct for Corvettes 1969-1972 Coupe Replacement for Corvettes 1968 Coupe - This is half of the removable rear storage tray hinge that mounts to the rear under body fiberglass.
- It has a clip for the hinge bolt, instead of a weld-on nut.
- The reinforcement plate and the bottom hinge have some pitting to them.
- The hinge is also slightly bent.
- The bolts also show some wear on the heads.
- The fiberglass surround is obviously included, so you now have the option to cut out your own fiberglass panel and glass this in, or remove the rivets and re-install the reinforcement to your old fiberglass piece.
- The panel has some loose fiberglass and bonding material.
- It also has some rough edges due to the removal process.
