For sale is one used lap seat belt buckle receiver. Date Code: 5C71 (5th Week of 1971 Production) Correct for Corvettes 1971 - The lap seat belt harness buckle receiver is one of the two-part safety restraint system (tongue clip belt is not included).
- It has the original cloth date tag attached with legible ink.
- The buckle accepts, clicks, and releases a tongue clip just fine with no catching or difficulty.
- The webbing does have some stiffness to it.
- The GM logo has wear on it from being used.
- The chrome latch has some scratches, as well as the button surround.
- The mount hole is in good condition.

Former Volkswagen and Renault designer Markus Haub has merged photography, painting and digital effects to create a 'Racing Legends' series, which focuses on racecars from the 1960s and ‘70s. Haub, a Pforzheim University graduate, who now teaches at the Barcelona campus of the Instituto Europeo di Design school (IED) when not producing his unique artwork, uses software to manipulate his photography which is then printed and made into a collage. He then works into it with paint and other artists' tools, creating what you can see here.
