• 1969 deck lids have a redesigned inner structure where the corners in front of the deck lid hold down latches are shaped differently than the previous design. The outer deck lid skin is the same shape.
• The rear deck lid door cover is in mostly complete condition.
• It features the cutout for the rear defroster (see pictures).
• The center rod for the release handle is missing in pictures, but is included with this deck lid (we found an original rod to replace the missing one).
• The deck lid is black fiberglass, the fiberglass shows some wear around the edges from being moved around in storage.
• It does have the 2 side holes for mounting the hardtop, one of the holes is blown out (see pictures).
• There are no latch assemblies included.
• The understructure shows some surface cracking.
• The original hardware and latches should be thoroughly cleaned and inspected prior to installation.
• The deck lid will work for all 1968-1975 Corvettes but there are no guide pins and no anti-rattle bumpers
• As with any fiberglass part, proper bodywork and prep must be done to ensure proper fitment.
