For sale is one used rear courtesy light housing bracket.

P/N 3954550

Correct for Corvettes 1969-1970

  • The bracket attaches to the rear closing panel (back wall) of the rear storage compartment cargo area, and the courtesy lamp housing screws onto this metal plate.

  • It shows some surface rust and oxidation, as well as some rust residue (see pictures).

  • The mount holes show some dents from being mounted and overtightened.

  • It also has some surface scratches.

  • Aside from the pushed in mount holes, the retainer is in its factory shape.

If your item gets damaged in transit, please contact us immediately so we can get the things moving on a replacement.

If the tracking number for your package says it never got delivered, we will ship a replacement to you but it may take as many as 7 to 10 business days to get an insurance replacement on its way to you.

This sketch of the 2012 A-Class is supposed to have ‘leaked’ from Mercedes, but we rather sense the antics of Mercedes PR. Which is exactly what you’d expect with a major launch at a major motor show looming.

Middlecott Sketchbattle Experiment contest pits auto designers against Detroit talent

Local creative and design talent from outside and inside the car industry will go head-to-head in a multi-round competition for the title of Sketchmaster in the Middlecott Sketchbattle Experiment (MSBE). To be held at an underground afterparty for the Auto Show Charity Preview on 17 January at the Kunsthalle Museum in Detroit, the self-styled car design fight club will be attended by industry leaders, designers from Ford, GM, Chrysler, Toyota and Tier One suppliers. Car enthusiasts, artists and designers from around the globe will also be present.

Max Wolff to become Design Director at Lincoln

Ford's luxury nameplate, Lincoln, is set to welcome a new design director, the first dedicated design director for the brand. The role will be filled by former GM designer Max Wolff, who will head the design team in the new year.  Until Wolff's appointment, Peter Horbury and Moray Callum, Ford's Executive Director of Design, The Americas, oversaw Lincoln-Mercury designs – the two brands were paired before Ford decided to kill off Mercury earlier this year. While Gerry McGovern headed Lincoln-Mercury design for a brief period before becoming director of Advanced Design at Land Rover in 2004, Lincoln itself has never had a design director dedicated solely to the brand.  Wolff brings with him extensive global perspective and luxury design experience; his most recent role was with Cadillac, where he was head of exteriors.
