For sale is one used pair of T-top roof panels.
For Corvettes 1968-1982 Coupe
- This pair of T-Top roof panels were manufactured by Thompson Astro Tops & Performance Products, and were offered in the 70's & 80s as aftermarket replacement T-Tops.
- These are hard to find 2-piece design. Currently, the 1-piece is only available new.
- These panels have a wider visibility than the original glass T-tops due to the design.
- They are made of a material similar to plexiglass (not glass).
- They have been sitting in storage for a number of years.
- The plastic chrome edge trim on the piping has mostly worn away.
- The surface does have some scratches due to being used and due to being in storage.
- Despite this, there are no cracks or breaks on the assemblies.
- As for the hardware, we are not really sure what is used to hold these T-tops against the body of the car, please do your own research about this.
- Please look over all the pictured to see what is included, as far as hardware, latches, pins, wedges, etc.
- The outer black surround seems to be of vinyl wrap material and could be replaced.
- With that said, the black surround does have some wear marks and holes on it also (see pictures).
- The weatherstrip is soft and plaible for both tops despite being in storage for a while. It looks like extra filler strips were placed over the original weatherstrip for added sealing.
This is a fairly good pair of Thompson Astro Tops for your Corvette, please look at the pictures. If you have any questions, please contact us.

CAR has been invited along to take part in the historic Mille Miglia road race along 1000 miles of Italian roads. It’s CAR contributor and Fifth Gear TV presenter Jonny Smith’s first Mille Miglia and here he charts his experiences at the wheel of a Jaguar C-type with live hour-by-hour blogs. NB Start at the bottom and work your way up the page (all times local Italy time)!SATURDAY 16 MAY 2009: DAY 3, MILLE MIGLIA The missing hours: what happened at the endOkay, so my phone battery died, but I made copious notes to cover the last few hours of the 2009 Mille Miglia.

I don't think I've been to a bad car show, and that includes the local Kamaro Klub in the Dairy Queen parking lot. But I tend to judge the shows by the afterglow--how much you remember a day or two after the event. I tend to remember a lot after every Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance, and that is mostly because the founder, Bill Warner, uses his annual North Florida show to do exactly what you and I would do if we ran a big show--invite our heroes to come talk and invite the cars we'd like to look at ourselves.

Sebastian Vettel `(pictured) takes delivery of his Infiniti FX Vettel Edition
The Infiniti FX50 is Infiniti’s take on the Porsche Cayenne, so we suppose the FX Vettel Edition, with extra power and titivations, should be compared to the Cayenne GTS. But unlike the Cayenne GTS, the Infiniti FX Vettel Edition is a very limited edition car – just 200 are being built – and costs an eye-watering amount of money – £100,000. For your £100k you get an Infiniti FX50 that’s had a raft of titivations to let Vettel reach a higher top speed on his regular joints up the Autobahn in Germany, as well as cosmetic additions to justify the price.
