Here's a used original Delco Remy 1119512 voltage regulator as installed on early 1963 Corvettes. This one's embossed "12V N 3D" for 12-volt, negative ground applications and production date coded April, 1963. The '512 voltage regulator is a hard beast to find as it was used on Corvette for only a part of the '63 model year. This one is a good date match for a late build Corvette. The part has one defect--the plastic bail that retains the electrical connector is broken/missing. But, as a judge myself, I'd hard pressed to take a full condition point on deduction... I'd probably simply make a comment on the score sheet. Beyond that this regulator has been cleaned up, the base replated, the cover repainted and then dynamically exercised on the bench to verify functionality and adjust its regulation. It comes with a no-DOA warranty. Shipping calculator presumes USPS priority mail delivery. Buyer to pay $2 handling fee plus freight at cost (you can define an alternate method of shipment). As expected, it's a straightforward decapitation of the thrill-seeking 370Z Coupe, with a good, old-fashioned canvas soft-top in keeping with the Zed's no-nonsense character.There's structural reinforcement in the A-pillars and side sills to counter the lack of roof, but Nissan says numerous body panels are made from aluminium to keep weight in check. The bonnet, door panels and bootlid are all crafted from the lightweight metal and there are individual, fixed roll bars behind each seat.Providing the fun is the 327bhp/270lb ft 3.7-litre V6 with variable valve lift and the choice of a seven-speed auto or six-speed manual transmission.
Gibbs begins production of Quadski amphibious ATV
Tue, 13 Nov 2012During our test of the Gibbs Quadski, a high-speed amphibious ATV manufactured by Gibbs Sports Amphibians Inc., representatives stated that the first production vehicles would be ready for sale by mid-November. The company seems to have made good on that promise. According to a statement, the first production Quadskis were completed earlier today at an Auburn Hills, Mich., factory.
