I have this piece listed as for parts or non-working. It actually is a brand new but very old EPR valve which goes into the back of an RV2 a/c compressor. I acquired it with an a/c inventory recently. These valves came in bags coated with an anti-corrosive but sticky chemical. When they sat for 20, 30, 40 years, that chemical acted more like glue. It would not let the interior piston slide back and forth. I soaked it in Zep 45 for two weeks. It was the only valve in the lot which eventually would let the internal piston slide back and forth freely.

Red arrow in picture one is showing the closed position.

Red arrow in picture two shows the open position when I use a pick [ green arrow ] to slide the piston open.

I would clean it one last time by soaking it in a/c mineral oil over-night, then letting it drip dry prior to installation.

Although new, there is no warranty on this part. Two orings are in the picture because I don't remember which size I took off when cleaning it.

This part is sold as is with no warranty nor is it returnable.
Sometimes you have to take a chance and roll the dice.

Porsche 911 Turbo S China 10th Anniversary Edition revealed

Mon, 30 May 2011

Porsche 911 Turbo S China 10th Anniversary Edition - celebrating a decade of Porsche in China It must have seemed a slightly optimistic decision when Porsche decided to make its mark in China in 2001 by opening a Porsche Center in Beijing, But it turned out to be a stroke of genius. China is now the second most important market for Porsche with the Stuttgart car maker now shifting almost 14,000 cars a year, a big change from the handful it managed in 2002. Big markets deserve special editions, and with plenty of wealthy individuals in China keen to have something no one else has, the Porsche 911 Turbo S China 10th Anniversary Edition – a moniker which fortunately isn’t written on the boot – will sell out straight away.
