This is the Audi RS4 Avant, a 444bhp super-estate. It's the Mk3 RS4 Avant, and it will only be available as an Avant (the first RS4 was an estate-only twin-turbo V6, the second a brilliant V8-engined rival for the M3 and available in saloon and Avant guises). The Jaguar XFR-S Sportbrake (pictured) has now been officially revealed The new Jaguar XFR-S Sportbrake made an early appearance yesterday after the first photo leaked out, but this morning Jaguar has done the decent think and made it official. The XFR-S Sportbrake is a car we all hoped Jaguar would put at the top of their Sportbrake range, but it will have taken two full years since the debut of the XF Sportbrake to add a model with the supercharged V8. But rather than making a straightforward XFR Sportbrake, Jaguar has gone the whole hog – just as it did with the F-Type R Coupe - and skipped the 504bhp version of the Supercharged V8 and jumped straight to the full-fat XFR-S with 542bhp.

Porsche 911 Carrera Cabriolet (2012) first pics

These are the first official shots of the Porsche 911 Carrera Cabriolet, which goes on sale in March 2012.  The convertible top still looks as if it was made of soft fabric, but it actually consists of three semi-rigid lightweight panels coated with a novel furry material, which conceals the cutlines. A fabric top layer finishes things off, and is claimed to be very soundproof, while the rear glass screen is heated and scratchproof. So the new Porsche 911 Cabriolet is a bit of a porker?
