This is a new Dart Dominator flanged square port single 4V aluminum intake for a standard deck height (9.8-inch) big block Chevy. Ideal for a big block bracket car or other Dart based applications with Big Chief heads. It fits Dart square port heads or Brodix Big Duke heads. Box has been opened for photos and then resealed. Manifold only. Over $100.00 cheaper than top mail order houses.
The Dart Big Chief manifold gives you the benefits of a custom made sheet metal manifold without the time and expense. This casting incorporates the Big Chief's radical spread port design which promotes phenomenal airflow. Carburetor pads are specifically designed for 4150 & 4500 carbs. Optimized runner cross-sectional area maintains high mixture velocity for maximum power. Individual runners provide a line-of-sight path from carburetor to ports. Dual distributor hold-downs simplify timing adjustments. Bosses for rear coolant lines are provided. |

Michelin design contest inspires young minds
Tue, 04 Dec 2012The College for Creative Studies in Detroit held its 24th Michelin Design challenge, in which Michelin sponsors a design and development project for one of CCS' transportation design classes. The competition works like this: CCS and Michelin get together to develop a theme, then CCS picks which transportation design class will work on the project. The idea, Michelin says, is to celebrate and promote the kind of vehicle design that highlights original thinking and innovation.
