This head was pulled from a 1974 260z 2+2 with the L26 engine. The odometer on the car reads 96 thousand plus miles. The crank turned freely and the block is in good shape too. The car sat for a number of years, but the engine always had oil and antifreeze in it.

I took this head to a machine shop and had them spray it off for me.
It could look better with a more detailed cleaning, but I'm selling it "as is" . I will put some more Corrosion X on the areas where light rust is forming from the cleaning.

ALSO INCLUDED IS THE TIMING CHAIN GEAR AND COVER!
******* NO TIMING CHAIN - JUST THE GEAR ********
These are not shown, but let me know if you would like pics.

I'm also including all the head bolts I removed just in case you want to reuse them. There is still (1) head bolt in the head and I decided to leave it alone. It came loose from the block and then threaded back down OK when I turned it with my fingers, so I don't think it's cross-threaded. The rest of them came loose without any problems.

If you have any questions, please ask before making the purchase.
Also, if you want more pics of something specific, just let me know.

One Lap of the Web: A podcast anniversary and a Facellia

-- Ford's F-350 can tow 35,000 pounds, which is pretty nifty. But it's lacking one crucial element in race-car transporting: it really could use Plymouth logos and a red, white and blue paint job with the word "REBEL" emblazoned on the side in the same lettering that announced Roosevelt's presidency. Hence, this 1965 Dodge C500 ramp truck built to look like something you could find in the paddock of Fontana Drag City circa 1965 with an altered-wheelbase Belvedere Funny Car on the back and a case of Tecate where the Mac tools go.

Ssangyong LIV-1 SUV: Seoul Motor Show

Mon, 01 Apr 2013

Ssangyong has rolled out yet another SUV Concept at its home motor show in Seoul – the Ssangyong LIV-1 SUV. The Ssangyong LIV-1 SUV is another new SUV concept from Ssangyong (we’ve had the SsangYong SIV-1 at Geneva and the e-XIV EV Concept at Paris in the last six months) with a  catchy little moniker, this one a ‘Limitless Interface Vehicle, which sets the bar quite high. The LIV-1 does have a better looking nose than any of Ssangyong’s current crop of production cars (well, certainly than the Rexton and Rodius) although it does look like the designers were competing to see how many creases they could add to the bodywork of the LIV-1.

SEAT reveals new X-Perience crossover

Tue, 24 Jun 2014

SEAT SEAT has revealed the new Leon X-Perience, the latest addition to the expanding Leon range and a foray into a new niche for VW's Spanish subsidiary. Following a method proven by the likes of Audi, Subaru and Volvo, SEAT has taken its new Leon estate, the ST, and added 4WD and plastic bumpers to create a new model. The basic shape of the Leon ST has remained unchanged, with a 15mm rise in ride-height and new anodised black roof rails completing the transformation.
