DeatschWerks Fuel Pump - DW100: The DW100 pump was engineered with a focus on low NVH (noise, vibration, and harshness), and long life. These goals have been achieved by creating a new pump motor with a computer-balanced armature, and very low amperage draw. The specially balanced armature decreases noise by 14% over the already quiet DW200 in-tank pump. Furthermore, the low amperage draw (4.2 amps at 40psi, 13.5 volts) generates less heat and significantly increases brush and commutator life. These features have culminated in a pump motor built to last a lifetime and the DW100 is accompanied by a lifetime warranty to back up the claim.

Founded in 2004, DeatschWerks, LLC is a company dedicated to providing application specific, high-performance fuel systems solutions. Located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, DW operates out of its own 12,000 sq. ft. facility that houses all of the company's functions including design/engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, and administration. DeatschWerks' roots were established by offering high flow drop-in fitment fuel injectors for Nissan engines such as the popular SR20DET, VG30DETT, and VQ35DE. Soon thereafter, DW expanded to cover Subaru, Mitsubishi, and other popular sport compact makes.
Today, the DeatschWerks line-up of fuel injectors includes over 250 applications and sizes that cover both Sport Compact and Modern Muscle applications. In 2010 DeatschWerks entered new territory when they released the DW300-series in-tank fuel pump. Adhering to their philosophy of application specific solutions, the DW301 fuel pump is available with fitment kits for over 30 popular applications. Then in 2011 DW expanded their fuel pump line to include the DW200 and a compact fuel pump solution, the DW65c.

The Goodwood Moving Motor Show
Yesterday we toddled along to Goodwood to see the set up for this year’s Festival of Speed and to have a look at the Moving Motor Show in action for the first time. We also – courtesy of Jaguar, who had invited us for the day – got an early drive up the hillclimb-based circuit that forms part of the Moving Motor Show’s appeal for the lucky ones who got the opportunity to take the wheel of one of the impressive bunch of cars on display. And it was an impressive bunch, with everything from the Toyota Auris Hybrid to the Rolls Royce Phantom DHC via the Audi R8 and the new Jaguar XJ on offer to drive.
