CDN-GM Interactive Design Competition - Exterior Phase Launched
Thu, 11 Aug 2011We're pleased to announce the launch of the second phase of the CDN-GM Interactive Design Competition, which challenges design students in North America to create an exterior design in response to briefs from each of GM's four brands – Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet and GMC. This second, exterior design phase of the competition – which can be found at www.cardesigncontest.com – follows on from the previous interiors design phase and again challenges students to design against briefs set by each of GM's four brands. Remember, you don't have to have entered or registered for the interiors phase in order to take part in this exterior phase of the competition.
2014 Mitsubishi Mirage pricing starts at $13,720
Mon, 19 Aug 2013Mitsubishi has just announced pricing for its 2014 Mirage, not to be confused with the Cadillac Elmiraj. Mitsubishi's version -- being a bit smaller and bit cheaper -- loses a few letters and opts for conventional spelling. As you can see, this Mirage is a little different from the last time we saw back in the '90s (when it was a compact sedan) -- different to the point of being a completely different car in a completely different segment.
Lotus Evora at the London motor show 2008
Wed, 23 Jul 2008By James Foxall and CAR reader reporter Jacomoseven Motor Shows 23 July 2008 01:43 Lotus will call its new 'Project Eagle' 2+2 sports car the Evora, it announced today at the London motor show. What’s new on Lotus’s London motor show stand?Pulling in crowds of expectant photographers and cameramen like you get at Europe's upper-echelon motor shows, the launch of the Evora gave this motor show a feeling of old-school glamour, not seen at a British expo for the past decade.
