The Gateway 500 Lite can accommodate iPod (with a dock cable or cradle) or USB, but to keep selection easy, there is no facility to switch between them. Whichever device was plugged in last is the one that will play. Control of the iPod is from the click wheel and all functions will operate as normal, however the skip buttons on your radio (or steering wheel) can be used to move forward and backwards through your tracks. The device will also charge while it is plugged in to the Gateway 500 Lite. If your USB device has a folder structure, or playlists, these can be accessed by selecting the corresponding CD number on your changer controls, up to the number of CDs your changer control is capable of handling, i.e. CD1 will play folder 1, CD2 will play folder 2 etc. Please check your vehicle's compatibility before purchasing. Sun, 30 Jun 2013The 2013 British Grand Prix at Silverstone (pictured) saw a rash of tyre failures It’s the ‘home’ Grand Prix at Silvertsone for not just the British drivers, but a chunk of the teams that are based in the UK for their F1 operations. The front row of Mercedes’ Hamilton and Rosberg (based in Brackley) and a second row of Red Bulls (based in Milton Keynes) promised plenty of action, and that’s what we got. But much of it for the wrong reasons.

Who's Where: Camilo Pardo leaves Ford
Thu, 15 Jan 2009Camilo Pardo has ended his 24 year long career at Ford to pursue his numerous other creative endeavors. CDN caught up with the accomplished artist, sculptor, clothing and furniture designer at his annual Designer's Night bash in Detroit, where he told us how he was now "free to do anything", but would not divulge details as the announcement was not yet official. A native New Yorker, Pardo graduated from the Center for Creative Studies in Detroit and was granted the Industrial Design Society of America Merit Award in 1985.
