Up for sale is a Detroit Diesel 6V92T Series Twin Turbo Marine Diesel Engine Motor

This engine was recently removed from a decommissioned vessel, along with another matching 92 series, I will be listing shortly. I have not ram these engines, but I have turned the engines by the crankshaft, and they spin a full revolution without any issues. Motor was rebuilt by Detroit in 2003, and it may or may not have been re-installed. It looks like it was rebuilt, then shelved, because the gaskets appear to be very clean, and white markings are still present. I cannot guarantee anything other than the fact that is is NOT seized up.

I am selling this engine AS IS, and AS PICTURED, with no returns.

Please take a look at the pictures, and let us know if you have any questions.

We might not be able to buy it in Blighty but it’s roaring up the sales charts in Germany thanks to scrappage incentives on offer there. All across Europe, cash-for-clunkers schemes are turning markets upside down, with the brands that offer the most car for the money the biggest winners.
