Change that plastic handle before it breaks and drops your dipstick into the motor. It is not much fun to get out when it slides down the tube.

For sale is one Blue Anodized Billet Aluminum Engine Oil Cap that has"ENGINE OIL" engraved into the cap and has an external O-ring that slides into the oil dipstick neck to make a perfect seal.

Comes complete with the replacement spring pin. All you have to do is knock out the pin from the plastic engine oil cap, put the steel dipstick into the new Blue Anodized Billet Aluminum Engine Oil Cap, line up the holes with the pin and push in the new pin. I include an extra pin just in case you drop one.

It is knurled around the top of the cap for easy removal.

You are purchasing one Engine Oil Cap with O ring and new pins. You will use your existing steel dipstick.

I ship to the Continental USA for the shipping price listed.

If you want it shipped to some other location please contact me for the extra shipping charges.

Please leave feedback after you have used the product. Thank You

VW Golf GTD (2009) first pictures

Fri, 27 Mar 2009

By Chris Chilton First Official Pictures 27 March 2009 12:30 Volkswagen UK hasn’t even delivered its first new Golf GTi but is already showing us this: the GTD, its diesel alter ego. Powered by a 168bhp version of VW’s ubiquitous common rail 2.0-litre turbodiesel four it sprints to 62mph in just 8.1sec compared with 7.1sec for the 207bhp petrol GTi and its 136mph top speed falls 12mph short. But with 256lb ft of torque (the GTi makes do with 207lb ft) on hand, the diesel should have the upper hand in mid-range performance.

The Veritas RS III will cost £295,000 and just 30 will be made The Veritas RS II is powered by BMW’s V10 from the M5, but with no ABS and no traction control, it’s going to be a hairy-chested drive. And you’ll probably need a set of goggles to stop every flying creature from being embedded in your eyeballs as the Veritas doesn’t even have a windscreen. The Veritas isn’t high on creature comforts either, and comes in a 1+1 configuration, with a cover over the passenger side that can be removed to take a brave passenger.
