I'm not into early Dodges,just happened to pick some of these up out of an estate in dry northern Colorado. It does spin over by hand,I don't plan to hook it up to power. It does feel like it has brush on communtator resistance. The little fuse cup is kinda beat up and one of the tabs that holds the fuse is gone so they have a small block of wood to hold the fuse to the remaining tab. This cup may have had a cap at one time. The gear definitely shows wear so this one cranked an old Dodge over on many occasions. The little cap that covers the back end of the armature is gone. It's not rusty and does not appear to have taken a hard hit. It should be rebuildable or maybe even usable with minor work but is being sold "as-is" so please make sure it's the one you want before you bid. Will be sent Fedex Ground. Mon, 24 Mar 2014In addition to holiday-themed displays assembled by junkyard employees and the occasional sad, flood-victim Volvo Amazon, I frequently find homemade mix CDs and cassette tapes while prowling through wrecking yards. In fact, it would be possible to go into just about any high-inventory-turnover self-service wrecking yard in North America and come away with several dozen such discs and tapes, if anybody ever felt motivated to do such a thing. I haven't, yet.
